ABOUT MAX MCNOWN: Nashville-based artist Max McNown’s rise has been meteoric, going from teaching himself guitar in just a few months to busking across Southern California to auditioning for, and ultimately turning down, a major TV talent show, all while building a massive following on TikTok, where he now has 2.6 million followers. Since blazing his own path as a singer-songwriter, the Oregon native’s breakout hit “A Lot More Free” has gone RIAA Certified Platinum in the U.S., amassed over 360M worldwide streams to date, and made its Billboard Hot 100 debut at #97, which launched him to the top of Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. Featured in his 2023 debut EP and his 2024 full-length Wandering album, it also peaked in the Top 10 at Hot AC Radio, Top 20 at Top 40, and Top 30 at Triple A, plus landed at #1 on TikTok’s Breakthrough USA chart, #2 on iTunes Country chart, hit the Spotify Viral 50 Global Playlist, and even got a nod from Kelly Clarkson when she performed the song on her Kellyoke series on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The rising star’s follow-up track, “Better Me For You (Brown Eyes),” which is the lead single from his 2025 sophomore album Night Diving (The Cost of Growing Up), also went double Platinum in the U.S, and landed McNown his highest charting position on the Billboard Hot 100 (at #26). The song, which amassed over 455M worldwide streams to date, spent 36 weeks on the Hot 100 chart. It also landed him his first entry onto the Spotify US Top 200 Chart (#120 peak), #6 at Country Radio Top 30 at Top 40, #8 at Hot AC, Top 20 AC, plus #1 on iTunes Country Songs Chart, and Top 5 on iTunes All Genres Chart. Joshua Ray Walker
Please join us for Joshua Ray Walker on Sunday, September 13th in the Pub Station Taproom. ABOUT JOSHUA RAY WALKER: Joshua Ray Walker is a Dallas-born Country/Americana songwriter known for vivid, character-driven storytelling and a rich tenor that blends classic Texas tradition with a modern emotional edge. Since his 2019 debut, he has built a catalog defined by sharp writing, dark humor, and deep empathy for complicated people, earning national television appearances, multiple Grand Ole Opry performances, and more than 2,000 shows across the U.S. and Europe. His sixth studio album, Ain’t Dead Yet, marks his most personal chapter to date. Recorded before, during, and after cancer treatment, (including sessions the day before lung surgery that could have permanently altered his voice), the record wrestles with mortality, gratitude, memory, and transformation. Sonically rooted in pedal steel, fiddle, and Walker’s signature guitar picking, it captures an artist confronting uncertainty with defiance , clarity, and hard-won joy. Across every release, from early character portraits to ambitious concept records, Walker’s through-line remains the same: songs that tell the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. On Ain’t Dead Yet, he expands that hallmark into his most personal chapter yet, documenting a profound period of change and a hard-won second chance. James McMurtry and the Martial Law Review
Please join us for James McMurtry and the Martial Law Review with special guest Betty Soo on Tuesday, August 4th in the Pub Station Taproom. ABOUT JAMES McMURTRY: James McMurtry released The Black Dog and the Wandering Boy on June 20th via New West Records. The 10-song collection was co-produced by McMurtry & Don Dixon (R.E.M., The Smithereens) and is his first album in four years. It follows his 2021 acclaimed new West debut, The Horses and the Hounds, which UnCut Magazine said “lifts storytelling-in-song to meticulous new levels” and Pitchfork awarded an 8.0, saying “James McMurtry stands out even among the Lone Star State’s finest songwriters…” The Black Dog and the Wandering Boy features appearances by Sarah Jarosz, Charlie Sexton, Bonnie Whitmore, Bukka Allen and more, alongside his trusted backing band, THE MARTIAL LAW REVIEW, Tim Holt on guitar and accordion, Cornbread on bass and Daren Hess on drums. As varied as they are, McMurtry’s new story-songs find inspiration in scraps from his family’s past: a rough pencil sketch by Ken Kesey that serves as the album cover, the hallucinations experienced by his father, the legendary writer Larry McMurtry, an old poem by a family friend. A supremely insightful and inventive storyteller, McMurtry teases vivid worlds out of small details, setting them to arrangements that have elements of Americana but sound too sly and smart for such a general category. Funny and sad often in the same breath, The Black Dog and the Wandering Boy adds a new chapter to a long career that has young songwriters like Sarah Jarosz and Jason Isbell cite him as a formative influence. Corb Lund with special guest Branson Anderson
Please join us for Corb Lund with special guest Branson Anderson on Tuesday, June 23rd in the Pub Station Ballroom. ABOUT CORB LUND: A rural Albertan hailing from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with a long family lineage of ranchers and rodeo people, Lund is about as authentic as they come, and equally as hard to define. The western Canadian singer-songwriter is an elusive artist — onstage, offstage, and in the studio — seamlessly weaving between the outlaw country, Western, and indie-folk realms with an honest curiosity and rowdy devotion to each. He was raised with the tried and true DIY sentiment of “if you want something done, you gotta do it yourself” launching his career recording in his basement, printing his own shirts, booking his own tours, being his own manager and publicist… whatever it took to get it done. He toured for years with the indie-metal band the smalls, and later turned his sights to writing Western songs, creating a unique and quirky hybrid writing style along the way. He has received multiple domestic and international award nominations and wins. In 2022, Lund won his 14th career Canadian Country Music Award and made his debut at the historic Grand Ole Opry. His album of originals, El Viejo, was released in February 2024. Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of the Pub Station box office. ZUG Album Release Show with special guests Spiked Mind and Magdalyn
Please join us for ZUG: Album Release Show with special guests Spiked Mind and Magdalyn on Saturday, April 18th in the Pub Station Taproom. ABOUT ZUG: Hailing from Billings, Montana, ZUG is a chaotic rock powerhouse with enough energy to level a city block. They have built a reputation for a sound that is sometimes melodic, sometimes stupid-heavy, but always unpredictable, mixing technical skill with a genuine love for the diminished. The band covers a lot of ground in their songwriting. Their music explores the darker side of the human condition, including anger, depression, Mario’s various power-ups, and the weight of self-sacrifice. The noise is about to get even louder. In April 2026, ZUG will release their brand-new album, Rejected. This upcoming project is set to deliver another dose of the high-velocity riffs and unique lyrical themes that fans have come to expect.
