An Evening with Ritch Henderson and Danno Simpson

Please join us for an evening with Ritch Henderson and Danno Simpson in the Pub Station Taproom on Saturday February, 22nd. Ritch and Danno will trade tunes and stories, making for a laid-back, unforgettable night! This concert is brought to you by the Western Grunge Tapedeck Podcast. RITCH HENDERSON:  Ritch Henderson is a seasoned songwriter, musician, and performing artist hailing from the poverty-stricken hills of Northern Alabama; his “lived-in” lyrics invoke an uncanny sense of familiarity, all the while challenging the status quo. Combining his intellectual lyrical prowess with his raw, soulful voice, Ritch has managed to make something as traditional as “Rock & Roll” feel brand new. As for the members in his band, they are all technically trained session musicians from Nashville, TN, who have bought into the vision of their Berklee-educated leader. Ritch Henderson & The Grandiose Delusion deliver one of the most passionate, well-rounded live shows in the independent touring scene today.    Ritch has performed with the likes of 49 Winchester, Drayton Farley, Pony Bradshaw, Nolan Taylor, John R. Miller, Blackberry Smoke, Whiskey Meyers, Alabama, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Steel Woods, The Wooks, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Reckless Kelly, Alex Williams, The Buffalo Wabs, John R. Miller, Arlo McKinley, and The Charlie Daniels Band. In addition to his touring success, Ritch’s music was featured on the album “Just Behind The Creek,” which peaked at #11 on Billboard’s Bluegrass charts.     DANNO SIMPSON:  Danno Simpson brings his raw, roots-driven sound and leaves it all on the stage. From his honest lyrics to his authentic blend of Country, Folk, Rock & Roll and Blues, Danno’s music tells vivid stories of struggle, resilience, and hope. Known for songs like “Honest Work” and “Pearly Gates,” Danno has quickly become a leading voice in the growing Alt-Country & Americana scene. Don’t miss this rising artist as he shares his powerful storytelling and hard-won experiences with the crowd. Danno has shared the stage and toured nationally with acts such as The Steelwoods, Dylan Gossett, Red Clay Strays, 49 Winchester, Drayton Farley, Randy Rogers Band, and more.     Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office. AJ Lee & Blue Summit with special guest Lena Marie Schiffer

Please join us for AJ Lee & Blue Summit with special guest Lena Marie Schiffer on Wednesday April 16th in the Pub Station Taproom.     ABOUT AJ LEE & BLUE SUMMIT:  AJ Lee & Blue Summit are an award-winning, energetic, charming, and technically jaw-dropping band quickly rising on the national roots music scene. Based in Santa Cruz, California, the group met as teenagers, picking and jamming together as kids at local bluegrass festivals until one day, they decided they would be a band.    Currently made up of AJ Lee on mandolin, fiddler Jan Purat, and guitarists Scott Gates and Sullivan Tuttle, the band carries that youthful, festival-parking-lot energy with them still today, but at the same time there’s a genuine ease and confidence to their music making. As they ready their third studio album, City of Glass – their first label release, out July 19th via Signature Sounds – their product feels mature and fully realized, while deep in the Blue Summit pocket.    City of Glass is a slow burn album, remarkable when considered alongside records released by their peers in recent years. Lee & Blue Summit seem unconcerned with mimicking or emulating other successful groups in their scenes. Instead, they’re most interested in discovering themselves, their own music, and sonics and textures truly their own. And, they’re most interested in doing so with their musical and Californian communities.    AJ Lee & Blue Summit are an exemplary band so unconcerned with being remembered, with being enshrined, that they have gone about making a set of songs that will surely be held onto and cherished forever. City of Glass may one day crumble, but this music will never fade away.     ABOUT LENA MARIE SCHIFFER:  Lena Marie Schiffer is a folk singer and songwriter based in Livingston, Montana. She has carved a notable niche in the music industry, touring nationally for ten years with her band Laney Lou and the Bird Dogs, and now playing under her own name. In 2024, Lena began developing her eponymous project that leans into folk, indie, and Americana influences. She paired up with Ani Casabonne on violin, and together they have formed a duo that is bound by a chemistry that is undeniable when hearing them play.    Lena writes original lyrics that offer deeply personal reflections and insightful observations of the world, creating a connection with her audience wherever she goes. Her innate ability to relate to others drives her passion to write and share her songs. Lena is releasing her debut solo album in the Fall of 2025, which will be produced by Courtney Hartman and recorded in Eau Claire, WI.   Ani, a classically trained violin player hailing from Frisco, Colorado, found her passion for music at a young age. After a trip to Montana Fiddle Camp in June of 2014, Ani was hooked on the styles of folk and bluegrass players. Years later, after relocating to Bozeman, Montana, Ani seamlessly transitioned into the local music scene, captivating audiences with her beautiful melodies. Whether she’s playing in intimate venues or on festival stages, Ani’s unique sound and love for music continues to shine through her playing.        Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office. Hamilton Loomis

Please join us for Hamilton Loomis on Friday, January 17th at Thirsty Street.        Born and raised in Galveston, Texas, Loomis is the son of musician parents who listened to blues, rock and soul. Music ran in his veins and, with instruments readily available around the house, he picked up drums, piano, guitar and harmonica, honing his multi-instrumental talent in addition to performing regularly as part of his family’s doo-wop group.   “My parents had a fantastic record collection and, when I started writing, I gravitated towards what I’d been listening to all my life. I have a huge reverence for the blues and all it encompasses, but I’ve always been fond of R&B and funky music.”   A protégé of Bo Diddley, Loomis met the icon backstage at the age of 16 at Houston’s famed venue Rockefeller’s. Before the night was over, Loomis was onstage playing guitar with the legend. Diddley quickly became friend, mentor, collaborator and supporter, appearing on two of Loomis’ albums and presenting a cherished red guitar that he still plays.         Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office. Dirtwire: Pyrochrome Tour with special guest AudsR

Please join us for Dirtwire with special guest, AudsR on Sunday, May 4th in the Pub Station Ballroom.    DIRTWIRE:  Dirtwire stands poised between ancient Mother Earth and modern technology, a blend of ethnomusicology and the psychedelic trance state, gut-bucket delta blues and what the band variously dubs “back-porch space cowboy blues, swamptronica, and electro-twang.” It’s a sound informed by Dirtwire’s travels and performances around the globe, where East meets West and North joins South. From the favelas in Brazil, Femi Kuti’s Shrine in Lagos, Tokyo’s bluegrass clubs, Ayahuasca ceremonies in Central America, Gamelan performances in Bali, desert festivals in the Australian Outback, and the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s modernized new capital Astana, the band spreads its message by building bridges across musical cultures in their own unique way.

Dirtwire plays an array of instruments both ancient and modern, including West African kamale ngonis, jaw harps, space fiddles, whamola basses, Rickenbacher electric 12 string guitars, bowed Banjos and mouth harps from around the globe, all interwoven into modern laptop beat creation. Hailing from the underground west coast electronic bass music scene Dirtwire finds itself at the forefront of experimental electronic music production mixing in their wide array of world instruments with sampled beats and 808’s. Dirtwire’s live shows are a communal psychedelic journey, ranging from down home boot stomping get downs, to bass and blues electronic mashups, to ethereal cinematic beat driven soundscapes. Woven into each is the exploration of where live instruments meet computer production, and where tradition meets experimentation.                      Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office.
