Black Stone Cherry

Please join us for Black Stone Cherry on Thursday, July 31st in the Pub Station Ballroom.      ABOUT BLACK STONE CHERRY Proud Kentucky rockers, Black Stone Cherry, emerge from a challenging few years triumphantly with a behemoth of an album, Screamin’ At The Sky (Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group), out now. The four-piece band’s eighth album explodes with urgently-emotive pop-rock hooks; heartfelt, redemptive lyrics; headbanging riffs; powerful dynamics; thunderous drums; and its most thrilling musicianship yet. The 12-song collection is also BSC’s biggest and best sounding album. The self-produced studio record was tracked at a classic Kentucky theater, and it sounds like the guys are smashing down the hammer of the gods.  “The thesis of this record is adapting and moving on. In the last few years, a lot of what I knew from childhood went away. I lost my father, and now I am the oldest living man in my family,” says vocalist/guitarist Chris Robertson. He continues: “There is a lot of darkness on this album—I bared my soul—but it always foreshadows light at the end of the tunnel.” Adds guitarist/backing vocalist Ben Wells: “We see something beautiful letting pain out—you come out a better person.” In the past two decades, Black Stone Cherry has set a new standard for Southern rock, revitalizing the tradition with its burly riffs and stirring rock hooks. Since its formation in 2001, the four-piece brotherhood has remained Chris Robertson, vocals/guitar; Ben Wells, guitar/vocals; and John Fred Young, drums. Today, the band welcomes its dear friend Steve Jewell Jr. on bass/backing vocals. Steve is formerly of the blues-rock band OTIS who has opened for BSC many times. “I grew up around this music. Every time we play ‘Lonely Train,’ I remember driving with my dad and hearing it on the radio. I get emotional thinking about it,” Steve says. John Fred chimes in: “Steve is the young kid in the band—he doesn’t have as many wrinkles! He’s a monster player, and we have this insane chemistry with him.”          Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office. Stranded By Choice Album Release

Please join us for Stranded By Choice album release on Saturday December 7th in The Pub Station Taproom with special guests, Render Me Silent.    Montana based rock band Stranded By Choice has toured and recorded for over a decade. SBC pulls elements of southern rock, thrash and punk to create a unique sound and an unforgettable live performance.  Their fourth studio album Neptune’s Gate was released last year and is available on all streaming services. Stranded By Choice has been featured in Powerplay Magazine, Noise and Color Magazine, Billings Gazette, Paste Magazine’s “50 States Project” as well as numerous online publications, blogs, and reviews. They recently completed a 10-date tour of the Southern U.S. and are set to release a live compilation album later this year.  Visit www.strandedbychoice.com to keep up on the latest news, shows and more.  “There’s an element to Stranded By Choice that’s decidedly old fashioned, and it’s not just their spacy, epic album covers. They name check bands like Clutch, Thin Lizzy and Mountain as influences. And you can hear it. There’s a touch of Clutch’s Neil Fallon to Feeley’s throaty vocals. Stranded By Choice have a deep, powerfully precise rhythm section that echoes Mountain. And Young and Rutt run around their fretboards at lightning pace, just like Thin Lizzy’s groundbreaking guitarist Gary Moore.

But if there’s one thing that Stranded by Choice sound like more than anything else, it’s themselves. They’re a band that is totally confident in their sound. There’s just nobody else like them.”  -Billings Gazette ’23            Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of Pub Station box office. Highly Suspect

Join us for Highly Suspect with special guest, Dead Poets Society.      HIGHLY SUSPECT:  Never content to follow, Highly Suspect push rock music forward by trusting their instincts and raising a middle finger to everything else. The multi-GRAMMY® Award-nominated and gold-certified band – Johnny Stevens [vocals, guitar], Ryan Meyer [drums, vocals], Rich Meyer [bass, vocals], Matt Kofos [guitar] and Mark Schwartz [keyboards/guitars] – don’t just talk about burning the rules and breaking the mold; they actually do so. The band’s chemically imbalanced mix of gritty guitars, haunting piano, off-kilter synths, hip-hop production, cinematic vision, and beautifully possessed vocals transformed them into a phenomenon beloved by a diehard global fanbase known as “MCID” [My Crew Is Dope].  After grinding it out as an underground curiosity, they scraped a path to mainstream infamousness with their 2015 full-length debut, Mister Asylum. It earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Rock Album” as the single “Lydia” received a nomination for “Best Rock Song” was certified gold by the RIAA. The 2016 follow-up The Boy Who Died Wolf roared to life with the gold-selling “My Name Is Human,” which catapulted to #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart and garnered a GRAMMY® Nomination for “Best Rock Song.”      DEAD POET’S SOCIETY: Jack Underkofler — Vocals/Guitar Jack Collins — Guitar Will Goodroad — Drums Dylan Brenner — Bass   A perfect symbol for Dead Poet Society is the “shitty old seven-string” that guitarist Jack Collins bought at a mall back in high school.   “Our former bass player actually took a soldering iron and soldered the frets off,” he recalls. “You couldn’t play it normally at all. I thought it was going to be a great idea. Years later it was sitting in my closet, and I decided to pick it up again because I got really bored. It became the new way for us to write music — it opened up a door into this whole new world we discovered.”   ——————————————————————————–   Highly Suspect VIP Meet & Greet Experience  – One general admission ticket  – Personal photo opportunity with Highly Suspect – Meet & Greet with Highly Suspect – Early entry into the venue with priority access to the floor  – Tour merchandise shopping opportunity before doors  – Autographed Highly Suspect VIP laminate    As Above, So Below VIP Package  – One general admission ticket  – Early entry into the venue with priority access to the floor  – Tour merchandise shopping opportunity before doors  – Autographed Highly Suspect VIP laminate       Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of the Pub Station box office. Queensrÿche: The Origins Tour

In April 2022, QUEENSRŸCHE finished a five-week North American tour supporting metal gods Judas Priest. That tour wasn’t merely a fiery return to the stage for QUEENSRŸCHE after a two-year pandemic: it was a rejuvenation. The sound of a band locked-in and firing on all cylinders. “The Priest tour was a great springboard for us to get back onstage in what’s essentially a new world,” says founding guitarist Michael Wilton. “We had so much momentum going off of our last record [2019’s The Verdict] and then, the world, our business, came to a grinding halt. We had to survive, pick ourselves up and get back to being QUEENSRŸCHE.” Now, their legacy has coalesced into another career milestone for the Bellevue, Washington borne band with the release of their 16th studio album, Digital Noise Alliance.    Overcoming obstacles and defying expectations has always been at the heart of QUEENSRŸCHE. With 20 million albums sold worldwide, innumerable accolades and a career that has charted the course of multiple genres, QUEENSRŸCHE remains bloodied but unbowed. Teamed again with producer and mixer, Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed), Digital Noise Alliance embraces and refracts QUEENSRŸCHE’s history from the classic drive of opener, “In Extremis” through “Behind The Walls” to epic album closer, “Tormentum”. Digital Noise Alliance is that elusive career-embodying album that echoes the most classic elements of the QUEENSRŸCHE’s sound. It pulses with the sort of sonic ambitions that changed the hard rock and metal landscape on albums like their multi-platinum Empire or their magnum-opus concept album, Operation: Mindcrime.    During the album sessions, Michael Wilton employed an arsenal of amps from QUEENSRŸCHE’s early days. “We ended up using Michael’s collection of old Marshalls,” says Zeuss. “The amp from The Warning and the amp from Rage for Order or Mindcrime or Empire. Each song has different amps and different guitars that reach back to that era. Some of these amps that hadn’t been turned on in years and had markings on them that dated back to those records. We’d turn them on and it would be like, ‘Whoah!’ Like we were awakening this beast. It brought a lot of great vibes to the album.”  That cloying together of QUEENSRŸCHE’s past and present has become the mark of the band who regrouped in 2012. Over the course of its last triptych of albums Queensryche (2013), Condition Human (2015) and The Verdict (2019), the five-piece took hold of the proverbial flame to give fans QUEENSRŸCHE in its purest essence. Moments like the lush, contemplative “Forest” echo career-defining highlights like the band’s Grammy-nominated hit single, “Silent Lucidity”. Digital Noise    Alliance is every bit as emotionally passionate and forward thinking as anything in their expansive discography.        Etix is the ONLY authorized ticketing agent outside of the Pub Station box office.
