TANNER LAWS

Tanner Laws is a singer/songwriter from Thompson Falls, MT who specializes in Traditional Country Music. Tanner learned to play guitar while attending college at Montana tech by watching YouTube videos in his college dorm room. He began writing songs and performing in bars around Butte in 2019 and quickly fell in love with writing and performing. Tanner graduated with a Civil Engineering degree and moved to Missoula where he would work his engineering job during the day and write/record original songs in the evening and perform on weekends around Montana. In 2021, Tanner quit his engineering job to pursue music full time.

Since then, he has won awards like Northwest CMA Songwriter of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and 2024 Missoula’s Best New Band. He has recorded his first 2 albums in Montana titled “Montana Livin'” and “LAWS.” Tanner has opened for Clint Black, Rodkey Atkins, Dustin Lynch, Sam Barber, Corey Kent, Randall King, Braxton Keith, Mitchell Tenpenny, Colby Acuff, and more. Tanner now has a full band and they are headlining venues all over Montana as well as Idaho, Colorado, and Texas so far. They will also be performing at the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale, as well as the Dillon Labor Day Concert (with Clint Black again).

Tanner has taken a big step in 2025 by recording his new songs in Nashville with high level musicians and producers. He says these songs capture the country sound he loves most and are influenced by artists like Keith Whitley, Brad Paisley, Chris LeDoux, Cody Johnson, and Merle Haggard. The first of these songs, “Aim to Please” comes out Tuesday, May 13th.

KYLE HUNTER
Since 2023, the KHTMS outfit has been paving their way into the scene from the open skies, tall peaks, and rugged heart of Montana. Kyle Hunter & The Mountain Standard are redefining Americana with a raw, high-energy edge that blends alt-country, barroom grit, and funky electric twang. Led by the magnetic Kyle Hunter, their sound ranges from traditional country, folk/rock, & bluegrass all the way to modern alt/country and everything in between – Inspired by the likes of Marty Robbins, The Allman Brothers, and Bill Withers. Kyle & the band soar with driving rhythms that hit as hard in a roadhouse club as they do on a festival stage.

Formed by a collective of seasoned musicians with deep roots in rock, folk, and country traditions, Kyle Hunter & The Mountain Standard have quickly carved out a name for themselves across the Northwest and beyond. Known for their dynamite live shows with a style that toes the line between outlaw rebellion and heartfelt tradition, they’ve turned heads at several high-profile venues and festivals, sharing the stage with some of the genre’s biggest names.

With lyrics that cut deep, and choruses built to shout along to, KHTMS isn’t just a band—it’s a full-throttle Americana experience. Whether you’re in the crowd or cranking it up on the road, this is music made for movement.
